Straight answers
Will a jump start be enough on its own?
Sometimes. If the battery is healthy and it was drained by a light left on, a jump plus a decent drive is the whole fix. If the battery is at the end of its life, a jump gets you moving today and you will need a replacement soon. The test tells us which one you are looking at.
Is jump starting safe for a modern car?
Done properly, yes. Done wrong, you can damage electronics that cost far more than the battery. That is the main argument for a rated pack and correct procedure rather than cables from whoever is parked next to you.
Not just a jump pack and a wrench
Hybrid and EV 12V
The small 12V battery in a hybrid or electric car still strands it when it dies, and most roadside outfits will not touch one. We will. The traction pack is a workshop job and we say so.
Start stop and AGM registration
Newer vehicles need the replacement battery registered to the management system. Skip it and the car keeps charging to the old battery's profile, which shortens the life of the new one.
Memory saver on every swap
Radio presets, the clock, and stored settings survive the battery coming out. Some vehicles still need a short relearn afterwards, and we tell you before we start.
